About

An archive kept by enthusiasts

alpinafans is an independent, non-commercial project celebrating the cars of Buchloe and the people who own them.

The archive

The catalogue documents 77 ALPINA production models with their BMW base, chassis, years and engine. Corrections and additions are always welcome.

The guides

Racing history, a classic buyer's guide, how to spot a genuine ALPINA, and a glossary of terms and chassis codes.

The motor show

The site grew out of the ALPINA owners' display at the Nottingham Motor Show at Wollaton Park, run by Crowdpullers MotorShows.
